Our closing attorney and closing coordinators have years of experience and education, and a passion for helping others.

For over 20 years, our team at Innovative Closing Solutions has helped local investors bring their transactions to the closing table quickly, efficiently, and accurately. One of the reasons why our closing firm has experienced so much success over the years all goes back to the great people on our team. Our team members have handled over 10,000 closings and tackled every complication with knowledge and ease, providing great results for our clients every time. Amari is one of our administrative assistants, and she brings seven years of customer service experience to our team. She joined Innovative Closing Solutions because she wanted to step into the professional world and try something exciting and different. The things she likes best about working with us are her fun, transparent coworkers and flexible, understanding boss.

Along with customer service, Amari also has incredible leadership and volunteer experience. For example, she was a part of the NAACP, Youth Council in her hometown of Eden, NC, Student Success Leader/Peer Mentor, Business Leadership Summit, Campus Outreach, Vice President of the Social Entrepreneurship Club, Black Student Association, and ACTION for Community Awareness. Amari graduated from Campbell University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Marketing.

Amari is the oldest of two children and of eight grandchildren. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, shopping, and being in nature. She loves going to the beach or the mountains and spends most of her extra time hanging out with her friends or family. 

Leah is one of our administrative assistants, and she brings five years of customer service experience to our team. She joined Innovative Closing Solutions because she wanted to step into the professional world and try something new. The things she likes best about working with us are her coworkers and understanding boss.

Not only has Leah worked in the food service industry for the past five years, but she also has incredible leadership and volunteer experience. For example, she was head of student leadership at the Forsyth Tech campus, attended a leadership program at Wake Forest University, tutored foster-care children, and volunteered over 50 hours with crisis control in Charlotte. Leah graduated with honors from the University of North Carolina Charlotte with a degree in business administration.

Leah is the youngest of seven children and was adopted from the Republic of Georgia. In her free time, she enjoys reading, knitting, and painting. She loves going to the beach or the lake and spends most of her extra time hanging out with her friends or her pets.  

Caitlyn is the Assistant Closing Coordinator at our Winston-Salem office, and she has been with us at Innovative Closing Solutions since 2019. Before joining our team, she worked in childcare for five years prior to deciding she wanted to try something new with her career. Caitlyn is a certified notary public with the state of North Carolina.

The thing she likes best about working for our firm is the family atmosphere. She says that everyone feels welcome and appreciated by everyone else in the company.

Caitlyn's family includes her mom, little sister Alyvia, little brother Tyler, and grandpa and grandma. She also has a family cat named Tiger, loving referred to as Hardhead. Caitlyn and her fiancé will be building a home in Pinnacle, North Carolina after tying the knot in December 2022.  

Outside of work, Caitlyn enjoys spending time with her family, and it is the most important thing to her. Together, they enjoy traveling to the mountains as often as possible, and Caitlyn considers those mountains her second home.

Aspen has been our Closing Coordinator since 2016, giving her many years of experience in this role. She was initially led to this position after being a stay-at-home mom for six months with her first born– this opportunity came at the perfect time for her, and she has enjoyed it ever since.

Prior to working at Innovative Closing Solutions, Aspen spent five years in customer service and a year in management. In addition to coordinating closings for our firm, she has performed an additional four years of customer service work with us. Aspen is a certified Notary Public with the State of North Carolina. 

Her favorite aspect of working for our firm is that we are solution-driven and committed to doing whatever we can to accommodate our clients' best interests. She also commends ICS for being a one-of-a-kind law firm that specializes in advanced investment strategies.

Aspen was born in New Mexico but moved to North Carolina in 2001. She married her high school sweetheart in 2017 after being together since 2009. Together, they have two sons, one born in 2016 and one born in 2020. They also have a Louisiana Catahoula leopard dog/husky mix, Kenai, and a chocolate labrador retriever, Moose.

Aspen has both an outdoorsy and artistic side. In her free time, she enjoys painting, photography, cake decorating, and antiquing, as well as camping, fishing, kayaking, and hiking. She will try her hand at just about anything and loves exploring new places, especially historical sites. 

Anna is our office manager, and she brings three years of administrative experience and three years of management experience to our team. She has worked for Innovative Closing Solutions on and off since she was 14, and prior to joining us, worked in the food service industry for four years, 3 of those years in management.

She came to work with us out of a desire to branch into the professional world. What she likes best about working on our team is her coworkers, the diverse working environment, and the ability to partner with investors to build long-term relationships. Anna recently graduated with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and put in over 50 hours of community service during her educational career.

Anna has one older brother, two younger sisters, and two cats named Truffle and Abed. In her free time, Anna enjoys spending time on the water, playing video games, reading, and playing with her cats.  

Brian is our managing attorney, and he has over 20 years of experience in the real estate and legal industries. Brian has always been attracted to real estate, and he grew up in a family of entrepreneurs, so starting a real estate business seemed like a natural fit for him.

Brian graduated from Campbell University Law School in 1999 and immediately started his own practice. Throughout his career, he has owned two property management companies, one real estate investment company, and other businesses. What he likes best about working at Innovative Closing Solutions is the ability it gives him to participate in helping other people achieve their goals and dreams.

Brian and his family are North Carolina natives who love any water-based activity. He and his wife (who is his high school sweetheart) have four incredible, high-achieving, and independent children. Some of Brian’s interests include sailing, firearms, and grilling.
